The ppm Commander software acts as a link between the GPS receiver and other software packages such as GIS, machine control or hydrographic software packages.
ppm Commander Software
The ppm Commander offers geodetic transformations that deliver highly accurate results. All parameters and configurations are stored in XML files, which can be customised quickly and individually without programming knowledge.
With the ppm Commander you can take the load off your application software and simply transfer the finished data from a virtual serial interface of the GNSS Commander software.
The ppm Commander software was developed as a result of our experiences with various software packages in the areas of GIS, machine control and hydrographic applications, some of which were very poor.
Usual standard software
The usual standard software had an integrated GPS interface. However, the configurations for GPS receivers were incompletely implemented or completely missing. During transformations, we often noticed a deterioration in the accuracy of the measurements due to improper transformation calculations. An extension or adaptation to current requirements was usually not planned and required a great deal of effort or even new programming.
The ppm Commander performs the following functions:

CONFIGURATION
of your GPS/GNSS receiver according to your requirements.
CORRECTION DATA
are received and analysed via NTRIP over the Internet.
TRANSFORMATION
into the local coordinate system you require.
We support online transformation (via RTCM stream) or local geoid files.
DATA TRANSFER
of the corrected (e.g. RTK) and transformed data via virtual serial port to your application software and/or via Windows’ localisation manager.
Under Android via pseudo-location or via a data provider that can be integrated into the application app.
